On the other hand have you ever wondered about the origin of an image. Maybe you saw a captivating picture, and you want to know who took it. Do you want to find out the name of a flower or the breed of a cat? There is a way to find this out and it's called "Reverse image search." It's very easy to do a reverse image search when you are on a computer. You just need to go to images.google.com on a web browser. Click on the camera icon and upload the image you want to "reverse search" or type in the URL of the picture. Google will display the pictures that are related to the one you uploaded.

Reverse image search when on a mobile phone is quite different. When you go to images.google.com you won't find the camera icon so you can't upload nor paste an image URL.

However, there are other ways to do this.

1. Set your mobile browser to fetch as desktop then go to images.google.com. The camera icon will show up. You will be able to perform the reverse image lookup by uploading or entering an image URL.

2. If you are using Chrome browser on your Android phone, pressing and holding on an photograph will trigger a pop-up menu with an option to "Search Google for this image."Tap on this option. To perform the search.

3. Another way to "reverse image search pictures that's on your phone is by visiting CTRLQ.org. This website makes use of Google for your search result. Visit the page you will find various options like upload pictures, take a picture or upload from a cloud storage service like Dropbox or Google Drive.
